News - Cesc Injured, Hoyte Bid, FC Twente Tomorrow

sorry for not posting anything yesterday, I didn't feel there was anything worth posting...but today is different.

Cesc Fabregas will be out for the next two games (FC Twente and West Brom) with a hamstring injury. Toure, Senderos, Diaby and Nasri are also on that injury list, leaving us a bit thin in the midfield for our CL qualifier. This is a good chance for Ramsey to prove he deserves some time in the first team this year and its important that he does.

Even with a long injury list, Wenger is backing our youngsters to succeed.
"If you play against your friends on the beach or in a big game it's exactly the same - if you are a good player you are a good player."
We should remember that these are the same youngsters who went to Stuttgart and won 3-1 and also beat Real Madrid 1-0. We should return from the Netherlands with at least a draw and look to finish them off at home.

A few pieces of transfer news now...

Fran Merida may return on loan to Real Sociedad. The deal is just waiting Arsene Wenger's approval.

Middlesborough have put in a bid for right back, Justin Hoyte. At 23 years old this could be a good move for Hoyte. I know hes a gunner through and through, but if he wants to develop as a player and start playing regular football he should make the move.

There was also some hope that we could grab Yaya Toure off of Barcelona, but according to them there is no chance of that happening. Smart move on their part.

Here's a little article on how Arsene Wenger evaluates and identifies young starlets.

If you have time read up on the Manchester City issues which are currently developing. They are in for some HUGE problems with Hughes wanting the quit, and Thaksin being an international fugitive now. His funds are frozen and he may be extradited to his home country. This could mean a firesale for man citeh, and we should try and pick up Richards and Johnson for cheap if we can.

That's all for today, we have FC Twente tommorow in the first leg of our CL Qualifier...Check back tomorrow for the highlights and my thoughts
