Some bad news to start the day off, Wenger has confirmed that Diaby will miss the first month of the season with a thigh injury. This means Denilson is set to be our starting CM beside Cesc. This is a wake up call Arsene...Diaby is never fit!! We need to bring in a new defensive midfielder or else we will be short in that position all season. What happens if Cesc goes down? We can't expect Ramsey to be ready to step up in his first season with the club.

Le Boss seems to understand we need to bring in another player and that could be Inler. According to him though, that player should be able to fill in at multiple positions. I'm assuming that would be CM and CB. I think that player should be Song when he comes back from the Olympics. His performances toward the end of last season were excellent and he can play both of those positions. Therefore, we should look to bring in a specific DM to partner Cesc and use Denilson, Diaby and Song as backup.

I mentioned yesterday that there is some interest from other teams in Justin Hoyte. But there have been no formal bids...yet.

NOTW says we are still keeping tabs on Yaya Toure. I wish, but highly doubt it will happen. If we were going to get him we probably would have worked something out during the Hleb deal when we had the advantage.

We are also linked with Juventus starlet Giovinco. I've never seen him play but apparently he is a future superstar. We have other needs to worry about though and better places to spend our money.
