Fantastic Display Against Newcastle...

Today's match has just finished, and I must say it was a terrific display. We looked a totally different side from the one last week. A brace from RVP should give him some much needed confidence as well as a goal from Denilson. Eboue had a great game on the right, with the highlight being his back heel pass to van persie for the second goal. Fabregas was great in the middle as usual. Carlos Vela subbed on for his debut and looked bright, getting into a lot of attacking positions. I can't say any of the boys had a bad game, although Denilson had a fair amount of misplaced passes.

Here are the goals from the match: (thanks to ReMad, and Mr. Mercury)

I just want to take a minute to talk about what a fantastic buy Samir Nasri was. He has slotted into the team straight away and has showed great pace, skill, desire, and goal scoring ability. He also showed he is another free kick option with a great curling effort that was saved by Given.

O yeah I just want to say, Fuck Joey Barton! We don't need players like him in this league...

The draw for the 3rd round of the Carling Cup has us facing Sheffield United again...we will be at home so a comfortable win with the youngsters should be the case.

2 days left for Wenger to make some signings...I'm still hoping for two more signings on the last day, with the quality we showed today two more signings could make us true title contenders.
